Chromatic Diamonds
Concept that was started a long time ago: to have a multi-colored diamond. The original setting up of the file took a lot of grid work and math to get all the angles for the diamond cut just right. After that I roughed in some grays and left it for a few weeks. Just today I decided to revisit it and add some color. Threw in some H&FJ Didot for a bit of elegance and tightened the tracking and leading for that oh-so-cool look that’s hot these days.
I also decided to throw in an iPhone version of this as part of a sort of celebration for being featured on Smashing Magazine’s 100 (Really) Beautiful iPhone Wallpapers.
