Desktop Grid System
It occurred to me the other day that Mac OS X has an underlying grid structure to the desktop. Well I love grids so I thought why hide something like a grid? You should be showing it off. So my mission was to go out and recreate the grid and make a wallpaper out of it.The colors were pulled off the Grid Systems in Graphic Design book by Josef Müller-Brockmann and the Grid (page layout) article on Wikipedia.
The wallpaper is designed to be used on OS X with a resolution of 1680×1050 with these settings “View Options” (Right-click desktop and go “Show View Options”).
Downloaded right away, looks great on the 20″ iMac. Hey have you checked slammer out? http://tr.im/kd5N keep up the great work bro.
