Functions of Illustration
In Illustration we learned that there are 5 functions that illustrations serve; aesthetic, entertainment, information, commentary, and manipulate. We were to take 3 of the 5 and, with a common theme in mind, make an illustration for each in a different style. I choose ‘wildlife’ as my topic and aesthetic, entertainment, and information as my functions.
